In just a few short hours, the clock will strike midnight and our first day of October arrives. With it will be The October Country's month long countdown to the biggest day in any horror fan's year, Halloween. Admittedly, we're a little nervous to take the plunge. The fact that we all but disappeared throughout September due to some trying personal struggles on the home front that are still very present makes me wary of making any kind of grand proclamations as far as what we plan to get up to with the site. Besides feeling rusty I'm still wholly distracted by the aforementioned personal strife. We'll roll things out as we can and hopefully by the time October 31st arrives I'll look back over the month and discover that I have accomplished every thing that I've hoped to. Fingers crossed and stay tuned dear readers.
