In The Homstretch ...7 Days Until Scream 4

Scream 4 Promotion Circuit - The Interviews (Part Two)

A film actress that enjoys the "talent" of being disruptive and annoying in a movie theater? Possibly funny if someone else in turn did it through all of her scenes maybe (actually that would be really delightful, just as long as I didn't have to hear it). Also, your not a "40 year old woman" Miss Roberts, your friends are just rude. Sigh. Okay Emma, hows about you stop demonstrating how obnoxious you can be and get on to the matter at hand, namely Scream 4 (this generation makes me feel more and more like a grumpy old man every day, I tell ya). Anyhoo, you did successfully manage to distract me from someone I find even more annoying and obnoxious, Jay Leno. So, congrats on that I suppose. The other plus? Another awesome clip from Scream 4 that has me positively salivating.

Part Two

"Things like Libya". Uh, word (and for the record, I love Neve's curves). Another pleasant interview with Campbell. Though I was a bit perplexed over the fact that Ellen DeGeneres' wife, Portia de Rossi, being a part of Scream 2 wasn't a topic of conversation. The Changeling rears it's head again and the show stages a surprise scare on Campbell that is admittedly pretty funny.

Wes Craven, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Neve Campbell, Hayden Panettiere, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody and Emma Roberts all dish with Fandango about their parts in Scream 4, the effects of modern technology's on script secrets, the franchise's history (I'm still adapting to not referring to it as a trilogy) and Gale Weather's bangs, among other things.

Or as Scream 2's Duane Martin once said, "Brothers don't last long in situations like this." Funny man Anthony Anderson chats with cutie Brooke Christopher about the "African-American element" in horror films, the rules of scary movies (new and old) and what audiences can expect from Scream 4; "screaming, death and killing." Ya know, all the good stuff.

We saved the best for last, or, my favorite chat session with the cast of Scream 4. Vulgar, audacious and full of so many expletives I lost count, the actors and Wes Craven sit down with potty mouth Carrie Keagan to talk about subjects ranging from sexy mustaches, dying in your underwear and playing beer pong with the aforementioned director. "Scream 4 is the screaming orgasm of horror films." My neither regions say "Here's hoping."
